Chuck is a member of the Durham Regional Police Service serving the community for the past 31 years. His roles have been that of a Uniform
Patrol Officer, Criminal Investigator, Major Case Manager and Executive
Senior Officer.
In 1997, he received The “Commissioner’s Commendation” from the Commissioner of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, for his work on the development and implementation of the Major Case Management Program. This program was recognized in Justice Campbell’s Bernardo Investigative Review and remains the investigative policing standard for all Canadian Police Services. Chuck has lectured across Canada, in Brazil and Australia on Leadership, Investigative Techniques and Major Case Management.
Chuck holds the position of Vice President on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police. In May 2008, he attended Rideau Hall where our Governor General Michaelle Jean introduced him as a “Member of the Order of Merit”. Chuck is married to Paula and they have four children.
