$20,000 sponsorship level

Ritchie Valens dressed up his rock ‘n’ roll with a black tux and then he got things shaking. The ‘La Bamba’ sponsor is the life of the party with this song about dancing the night away.

The wild man of rock ‘n’ roll heated up the charts with ‘Great Balls of Fire,’ which went number one in November, 1957. This year’s $10,000 sponsors set the Mayor’s Gala fundraising efforts on fire.

ROCK-IN ROBIN: Bobby Day, 1958
$5,000 sponsorship level

The Rock-in little Robin helped usher in the rock ‘n’ roll era with its catchy tune and light-hearted lyrics. Our $5,000 sponsors provide the same foundation for our 2007 Gala.

Promotional considerations:

• Company name listed in program;
• Logo on the Mayor’s Gala website;
• Thank you listing in some promotional materials and on Gala sponsorship page in the newspaper.

• Table of 8 - opportunity to include VIP guests if desired; All complimentary evening.

ABOUT YOUR GIFT

This year, once again, a large portion of the proceeds will go to our community hospital. And in keeping with our theme, the remainder will be used to support vital youth programs in west Durham. The Youth Centre, Big Brothers and Sisters of Ajax-Pickering, and WindReach Farm will share in the proceeds.

Last year’s Pickering Mayor's Gala raised more than $110,000 for charitable causes and our sponsors can take great pride in being associated with this quality gala event, and its fundraising achievement.

The Rouge Valley Ajax and Pickering hospital
The Rouge Valley Health System is focused on "Quality-Growth-Partnerships-Community Involvement" as its path forward to bring needed health care services to west Durham.

The RVAP hospital has developed a common standard of care of the highest quality by review of best practices across the industry. It is committed to expanding key services to meet the growth needs in west Durham and is currently undertaking a much needed expansion and redevelopment project spearheaded by a partnership of hospital staff and community leaders. Through strong on-going partnerships, like this fundraiser, the hospital will continue to thrive and to deliver vital services required to meet the healthcare needs of our community.
